Aluminium Bifold doors

Solarfold folding doors are constructed with aluminium so are maintenance friendly and comply with current building regulations.

The standard finish for the Solarfold range of aluminium folding door systems is polyester powder coated White RAL 9010. All hardware and door furniture is fitted to complement the door system, standard colours are Black , White or Silver. Rubber gaskets and hinges are Black with the hinges mounted within the weatherseal sightline. We advise all installations within 5000 metres from the sea or to be used in swimming pool locations are powder coated to a 60 micron thickness for marine environment .

Timber Bifold doors

Folding sliding doors or bi fold doors as they are also known add a new dimension to any home whilst maximising space and light.  One of the biggest benefits to folding systems is that they give a 90% opening space as opposed to 40% with conventional patio door systems.

The versatility of folding sliding doors means that in addition to being used externally they can also be used as room dividers between rooms or a conservatory allowing for flexible division of your living space. Our Solarfold folding sliding doors are also available with outward or inward opening.

Solarfold  tailor-made timber folding sliding doors. Available in engineered softwood, hardwood or oak with a choice of opening configurations, sill details and paint or stain finishes.  We offer a wide range of glazing options with triple glazing available on all our products and also an opaque glass option.

Solarfold timber folding sliding door system is top hung with the bottom guided on an aluminium track, tested to over 50,000 cycles.  In addition to the multi point locking system, our glazing is internally beaded for additional security.

We offer a nationwide fitting service by our own dedicated team of installers; the cost will obviously depend on the size and location of your project.  Alternatively, we can just deliver to your site.
